Central Massachusetts on a Bike
35 miles on a bicycle on a beautiful Sunday morning in late August.
We started in Worcester, went through Holden and took Rte 68 to Comet Pond.
Besides being a pristine pond, it has a port-a-potty that is pretty clean so it’s worth a stop!
From Comet Pond, we took Rte 62 into the center of Princeton.
Those two tall shapes you can barely see in the distance on the right are The Prudential Center and the Hancock Tower in downtown Boston, at least 50 miles away!
From Princeton, we wound our way back to Rte 31 and into Holden,
along gently rolling hills and cool wooded roads.
And then we were back! It was a gorgeous day with beautiful scenery, right in my backyard!
