Sierra Leone, West Africa

It was 30 years ago that I set off for West Africa with CUSO(Canadian University Students Overseas)to teach health and home economicsat Kabala Secondary School in Sierra Leone, West Africa.When I arrived at the school, I met Ron, a Peace Corps volunteer.We spent a lot of time together, fell in love, got married and moved to Massachusetts.Fast forward to the summer of 2013 and we are once again traveling to Sierra Leone.This time we are visiting our son who is completing a 6 week internship at NarSarah Clinic in Kabala and bringing our other son, a recent college graduate, along for the experience!Stay tuned for photos and thoughts when we return mid July!
