Nevis

I'm not sure where to begin to describe Nevis---peaceful, beautiful, laid-back, unspoiled --- and one of my favorite places in the world.

It is a happy combination of brightly colored fishing boats…

incredible, empty beaches…

and interesting architecture.

It’s also about playing on the beach and enjoying cold drinks.

There are some wonderful people, like Piggy and Reggie and Kennedy,

and great houses to rent, like Seascape, Black Sand Cove and Carambola.

Grilled fish is abundant at places like Sunshine’s Beach Bar, Lime Cafe, Double Deuce, Gallipot, Nisbet Plantation and Banana’s. And most restaurants have a specialty drink, none so famous as Sunshine’s Killer Bee!

It all adds up to make it one of my favorite places on earth!
