Italy - The Lakes

The scenery was spectacular, the weather was perfect and the food was amazing for the six days we hiked around Lake Orta, Maggiore and Como the last week of September. We arrived in Milan a day early so we could adjust to the time change and see some of the city, including the Duomo.

Puebla, Mexico

When my brother called to say he was getting married…in Puebla, Mexico…it seemed like a good reason to visit this city a few hours from Mexico City!

Rancho la Puerta

It was an article in the Travel section of the Boston Globe in 1996 that sparked my interest in Rancho la Puerta, a fitness resort in Tecate, Mexico. I tucked the newspaper in my wish list folder and periodically pulled it out to pour over the article. Fast forward a few years and I was arriving at ‘the ranch’ from the San Diego airport about to spend a week experiencing the magic of Rancho la Puerta!
